Burned Food at 2 Front Street

Engine 1811 and Engine 1812 responded to an automatic fire alarm at Silver Manor, 2 Front Street, with Station 2.  Crews stood by at the fire hydrant while the alarm was investigated.  Personnel found an odor of burned food in the 3rd floor community kitchen and a pot on the stove but no evidence of burned food.

 

The building was clear of smoke and the alarm system was restored.  Personnel went available approximately 10 minutes after dispatch.
