2013 Easter Egg Hunt

Photo with Easter BunnyEggs, eggs, and more eggs.

The North Catasauqua Park and Playground is usually deserted in March, unless of course we have unseasonable warm weather, but that all changed on Saturday afternoon March 23rd, 2013, when hundreds of children from the borough and beyond descended on the grounds for the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the North Catasauqua Fire Department.

From behind the starting line children of all ages plotted their course to scoop up as many candy-filled plastic eggs as they could, each secretly hoping a “prize winning egg” was in their future. Youngsters and adults alike stood in line to meet and greet the Easter Bunny while others were more fascinated with the appearance of the fire truck. Special prizes were awarded in each age group and everyone who participated received a fire hat and candy.
