Catasauqua Community Partnership Grant Award

At the Charotin Hose Co. Christmas Banquet, held December 11, 2010 at the company social quarters, the Catasauqua Community Partnership provided a $1,500 grant to the Charotin Hose Co. for the purchase of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to be placed on Attack 1871.  Attack 1871 carries medical and EMS supplies for our first responder program.

The Catasauqua Community Partnership runs the Catasauqua Thrift Shop at 113 Bridge St.  Catasauqua Community Partnership  has provided donations to the Charotin Hose Co. in the past and we wanted to thank them for their support with an invitation to our Christmas Banquet.  To our surprise, they came bearing gifts -- a grant for $1,500 to be used for the AED -- as shown in the picture with this article.
