Help Wanted

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the North Catasauqua Fire Department.

The North Catasauqua Fire Department offers a variety of opportunities to serve your community in the volunteer fire and emergency services.  Many of the opportunities have little to nothing to do with actual firefighting as the fire service is one of the most diverse and challenging professions.  The diversity is often times an inspiration to men and women who volunteer.  Every day and every call is never the same.

Firefighting is not for everyone.  We understand that.  But volunteering can be.

There are many ways to assist your community through the NCFD, including firefighting, emergency medical services, junior firefighter, fire police, active auxiliary, firefighter recruiting, fund-raising, record-keeping, financial services, building renovations, equipment maintenance and repair, and community service.

An NCFD volunteer needs a desire to help people, courage, dedication, assertiveness, and an open mind to learn new skills and face new challenges.  Volunteering with NCFD, and any volunteer fire department, requires a large time commitment for training sessions, meetings, emergency responses, and maintenance.  The rewards and satisfaction received from the volunteer fire service give every member a sense of accomplishment when a goal is achieved.

If you think the NCFD may be a good place for you, you need a change of pace, or have a desire to make yourself a more well-rounded individual, then get in touch with us.  Email us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
